    Currently, I can only dump content in my daily page. My workflow would be really improved if I can create objects via API. Examples of use cases I keep reading a lot of quotes from the web that I'd like to store in a quotes object Save a tweet Save a YouTube Video Save a book recommendation from chat or an article directly as a book object. Also true for movies and other recommendations Save contact details for a person Create a meeting notes object and open the page (from Raycast/Calendar) in Capacities to start taking notes

  5. Native Image Editing (Crop, Rotate, Resize) for Image Blocks

    To streamline the research workflow and maintain a polished page layout within Capacities, we should implement basic, native image editing tools (cropping, rotating, and resizing) directly within the image block context menu. PKM users frequently capture screenshots, book covers, and diagrams that require quick framing adjustments; forcing them to use external applications breaks their cognitive flow and disrupts deep work. Providing these lightweight, block-level adjustments removes significant capture-to-synthesis friction, keeps visual thinkers inside the app, and helps users optimize their workspace organization. Crucially, optimizing image dimensions and cropping out unnecessary areas before full server synchronization will significantly reduce the volume of data uploaded to and stored on Capacities' servers, offering a high-impact, cost-saving infrastructure win alongside a premium user experience.

  6. Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Notes

    I think it would be a great addition to have Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Notes along with the Daily Notes interface. For example, by pressing the number buttons above the calendar to create one.

  7. Choose from various handcrafted color themes for the UI

    A theme can have a huge impact on the vibe and feel of the app when we use it. Since PKM is a personal endeavor, the ability to customize one's thinking environment is important. Options could involve: high contrast | normal cool gray | warm gray | neutral gray colorful | monochrome Different color accents and hues very warm gray scale+ amber accent colors mauve-tinted gray scale + mauve accent color Capacities will hand-craft all themes, so it won't be possible to insert custom CSS. This would simply generate too many degrees of freedom and potential UI issues. Special themes can however be requested, and if the interest is high enough, we'll develop them for everyone.

  8. Sync Tasks with your Calendar

    Synchronize all tasks from my calendar to Capacities and tasks from Capacities to my calendar for time management.

  9. Heading spacing needs adjustment

    The spacing before and after headings needs to be adjusted. The current setting has less space immediately preceding a heading and more space following it. The result is that headings appear to belong (visually) to the preceding paragraph/block. The standard in document formatting is to put more space before a heading and less space after to accurately visually depict the hierarchy in the document. Related to this, other blocks and block groups are weirdly spaced as well. There is more space between bullet points, for instance, than one would typically expect of related list items. It ends up looking like unrelated paragraph blocks.

  10. Nested Tags / Hierarchy for tags

    Add tags hierarchy so we can tag items very granuarly like #recipe/breakfast and #recipe/dinner which can all be viewed under #recipe.

  12. Merge Items and Tags

    I have created some objects which are very similar or tags which cover the same area. It would be good if we can merge the tags, items to a single one. The content of a page could then just be appended.

  14. Ability to copy / transfer entities to other spaces

    I would like to have the ability to move entities to another space. Let's say I develop some ideas in my personal space which become relevant to my work, I woulk like to move and/or copy them to a different space. There should be an option to move the linked entities aswell or at least the nodes which are directly linked.

    It would be great if I could roll back a note by 15mins-1h whilst i'm working on it in case I delete something I wanted to keep.
