Pinned calendar tab should default to current day, rather than opening new tab

The pinned behaviour of the calendar tab doesn't make sense. If you pin the calendar tab, it pins it at that specific day. Having the setting to open to calendar today in settings results in a duplicate tab opening. It should; a) open the current tab if it is already open and; b) switch the tab to the current date, in the calendar tab, if the calendar tab is open to a different selected day.
