Pass query results to “Backlinked (context) objects”
Problem: I want a query that returns all my tasks whose backlinked Project has the status “Active.” I can do this with Backlinked (context) objects includes <selected objects>, but I have to select the projects manually. When a project’s status changes, the query doesn’t update.
Request: Allow a query result as the value for Backlinked (context) objects includes. Then I could pass in a query that returns all active Projects and get the tasks linked to them. The results would update automatically when a project’s status changes.

·2 days agoCould you share an example of the query filters and desired result, including whether the referenced query should be limited to Projects? Should matching tasks update automatically when a project’s status changes?

Sorry. I've accidentally posted this in the Bugs board instead of the Feature request board. I'm not sure how to change the Board once posted.
I'll switch it over! This isn't technically possible though at this time.
Workflow question though: do you have a lot of open tasks for projects that aren't active? If so assigning some sort of status to those non-active-project tasks could help, because then you can filter for projects and filter out that status (e.g. discarded, on hold)
