Option to use legacy indent/nesting behavior
A recent update changed nesting behavior, for example, with the current starting state, where "-" is a toggle bullet and () is an indent level:
- 1
() - 2
() - 3
() () - 4
EX 1
Legacy: indenting 3 would indent both 3 & 4, so each of 1,2,3,4 would have indent levels 0,1,2,3 respectively.
Current: indenting 3 only indents 3 and leaves 4 where it is, so 3&4 are sibling children under 2
EX 2
Both: outdenting 3 would put 3 on the same indent level as 1. 1&3 would each have one child (2&4 respectively). Then, indenting 3 again
Legacy: restore original tree
Current: 2,3,4 are all equal sibling children of 1.
This was a smart improvement to make but which functionality is better is really a matter of preference, so it would be great to have an option in settings to choose between one and the other.
