HTML and Images not retained in Forwarded Emails

I forwarded an email to [email protected] that had HTML formatting and images. I specifically chose that email because of the images. It was appended to my daily note and did contain the tags. But there were no images or HTML formatting. I understand HTML may be an issue but I would think images would have been retained. Can this be added to the list of items?
