Please let users dismiss the back-to-school banner

Hi Capacities team,

The back-to-school promo banner shows up all the time and I can’t find a way to close it or turn it off for good.

The promotion doesn’t apply to me. I don’t have kids going back to school, and I doubt I’m the only one. The banner takes up space on screen and pulls my attention away while I’m working. I use Capacities to focus, and a marketing message that never goes away works against that.

Please do one of these:

1. Add a close button that keeps the banner hidden once it’s dismissed.

2. Add a setting to turn off promotional banners.

3. Show seasonal promotions only to users they’re likely to apply to, and only for a short time.

I like the product and want to keep using it without this distraction. Thanks for looking into it.

P.S. Why 40% off? A discount that big makes it feel like the next line will tell me to go buy a new MacBook too. It reads like a retail back-to-school sale, not a tool I trust with my work. A discount that steep doesn’t fit the quality and integrity you’ve built into Capacities. It makes the product seem cheap.

Anytype does the same thing it’s not the path. Should be no giveaways. If anything you should raise the prices. need to give anything away
