Feature Request: Allow PDF Highlights Without Creating Note Blocks

It would be helpful to have the option to highlight text directly in the PDF viewer without automatically creating a note block in the PDF’s Notes section.

Currently, every highlight is added to the Notes section, which can make it cluttered when I only want to mark something visually while reading. Highlights and note extraction should ideally be separate actions, or there could be an option to choose whether a highlight is added to Notes.
