Summarize / Calculate numerical properties across subset of objects.
I would like to manage my finances in Capacities. To do this, I would need to be able to sum and calculate numerical properties across all or a selection of objects in order to get an overview of my income and expenses per time period (month, quarter, year), filtered by category or other properties. The table object isn’t really an alternative because it doesn’t offer dynamic filtering options, and its calculation capabilities are insufficient (no conditional calculations). Have I overlooked something?

You haven’t overlooked a documented way to calculate numerical properties across a filtered subset of objects; formulas currently apply within tables. Database rollups and formula columns are separate feature requests. Could you add an example of the properties and filters needed for your finance workflow?
