Export of weblinks to markdown makes it hard to distinguish between highlights and comments on them
Most of my weblinks come from the integration with Web-Highlighter.
Its highlights now show up in the Notes on a weblink with the color I used and my comments (if any) below a separator and in a different font (type & size).
When I export to PDF the highlights and comments are easy to distinguish as they at least retain their differentiated formatting (though not the color).
When I export to markdown, that formatting differentiation is lost.
The only way to know whether a line is a highlight or a comment is from the (number of) empty lines between them and even that stops functioning when you have more than 1 highlight with comment following each other.
What I've been able to discern
- Highlights without comments are separated by two empty lines
- A comment on a highlight follows after a single empty line.
- BUT a highlight after a comment ALSO follows it after a single empty line.
When you have a couple of highlights with comments one after the other, you quickly lose track of which is which.
Please improve this by simply always preceding a highlight with two empty lines.
Or, if you're going to address the loss of formatting (see my bug report on that at: https://feedback.capacities.io/b/1v35e680/feature-ideas/full-export-export-of-weblinks-does-not-export-formatting), clearly indicate what's a highlight and what a comment.
