Block Properties as tabs at top of the note

I've set up Areas as an object, but there are expanding lists of other objects related to these major areas. I've put the queries into block properties, and it would be great if block properties could have the option of being tabs like the Tasks tab that is automatically generated within a note next to the Content block.
