AI Edit: Let assistants modify/format existing text inside an object, not just append

There is no way currently for an AI to edit existing body text (fix a typo, rewrite a paragraph, find and replace, format) without opening the object by hand, even though it already has full read access. It would also cover #411 (AI formatting/auto-format), since formatting is just another layer of the same body content the AI currently can't touch.
