Gray background color is barely visible when working in light mode
The gray background color is barely perceptible for light mode. Can this color just be a little bit more saturated/darker so I can actually see it? I've created two headers so you can see the difference (or not so much difference) in the screenshot. The top header has the gray background, but I can't even tell it's there.

Thanks for the clear example and description. The current light-mode grays are intentionally subtle, but your point about low perceptibility for backgrounds is valid. We’ll review the contrast and consider slightly darkening/saturating this gray to make background highlighting more visible in light mode.
