Siri AI access to Capacities knowledge
Feature idea: make Capacities content available to Siri / Apple Intelligence system retrieval
I’d love to see Capacities expose user-authorized content to Apple’s newer Siri / AI layers through the relevant Apple integration surfaces.
What I mean:
- let Siri / Spotlight / Apple Intelligence discover Capacities objects as a searchable knowledge source
- support opening or retrieving matching Capacities objects from natural-language system queries
- expose safe actions like open object, create note, append to daily note, or capture to a chosen object
- keep this user-scoped and privacy-controlled
Why this feels valuable:
- Capacities is already where a lot of structured personal knowledge lives
- Apple is making Siri and system-level AI more semantically aware
- Capacities could become much more useful if its objects were available as a first-class retrieval layer in those flows
A few examples:
- “Find my Capacities notes about MCP migration”
- “Open the last note where I mentioned Steffen”
- “Create a Capacities page from this Siri capture”
- “Show the Capacities object related to this meeting topic”
I’m less interested in generic voice capture alone and more interested in system-level semantic visibility and retrieval.
Is this something the team is considering?

Thanks for outlining this so clearly, especially the concrete Siri / Apple Intelligence use cases. This kind of deep, system-level integration with Apple’s newer layers is not documented as planned right now. We are currently focused on API 2.0 and integrations more broadly: https://capacities.io/whats-next/#api-20-and-more-powerful-ai-chat-connectors. Keeping this scoped, privacy-controlled, and object-aware fits well with how integrations are generally approached, so additional votes and comments here are useful for prioritization.
