Compact cards in Kanban view for Tasks

The cards in Kanban are massive and take up a tonne of space when there are a lot of tasks being managed. I'd love an option to make the cards more compact and adjust how card contents are arranged. Some suggestions are:

  • Remove the 'Task' indicator in the top left corner. Every task has it and I'm already well aware that they're tasks seeing as I'm in the task tab / view.
  • Hide the 'Status' in the card because it's already defined by the column it's in when in Kanban view. To change Status, the card can be dragged to the right column.
  • Use the circular 'Completed' checkbox to denote priority. Red ring as high, orange ring as medium, blue ring as low, grey ring as no priority.
  • Reduce the font size of the task title. I'm fine with it being bold but it doesn't need to be so large. Something a fraction larger than the status or tag font size would be fine.

The above changes would result in a five row card now reducing to a three row card. With no due date / deadline set, it would be a two row card. This improvement would allow users to fit more tasks in one view without scrolling.

Suggestion: Use the "Small Card" format for the Kanban boards.

Rationale: We already have settings for customizing how much or little info we want on the small cards (which is awesome!). Now, let's leverage that for the Kanban boards.
