Completed Task show up in Daily note based on completed dates not due dates/deadline?
A bizarre design decision — In Daily note, completed Tasks are shown up for the day of completion. This turn out to be a problem for tasks where they're actually carried out earlier in real life but later marked as completed in Capacities.
For example:
Task A: Submit Finance documents (Due Jun 1 // Deadline Jun 2)
This task was actually carried out in real life on Jun 1, but I forgot to mark it as completed in Capacities. Later on, let's say on Jun 4, I have finally mark it as completed. Right now, Capacities chose to show the task in Daily note under Jun 4.
I'd suggest adding either of the following options will be much appreciated for *Completed* Tasks:
- We can change the completed date of task (right now auto log by Capacities and no way to change)
- We can configure how Tasks are populated in Daily Notes i.e. By Task Completion Date, By Task Due Date, By Task Deadline Date

I would REALLY appreciate having the ability to change the Completion Date. On busy days at work or home, am getting things done, but not always left with time to mark things off that day, never get back into Capacities. I think OmniFocus has this feature. For several years I have been using the Recurrence app for random things around the house and love that it logs when it was done, saves notes about it and most importantly lets you log the date you actually did it even if you didn't mark it off until later. If I take a medication once a week and took it 3 days ago but only gets marked off today, then my next instance will be late if is schedules 7 days from completion but I can't edit completion date. Sounds like you guys have done an awesome job with this feature and does almost everything my current solution does - except this. Even using Capacities at work over the last several weeks, I don't love that I can't change this. Busy working on projects but not always seeing a task that I should have marked off days ago - now reflected incorrectly in terms of when it was actually completed - times when I have to let a project team know when it was done and I don't have an accurate reflection of that.
