Work with text as a single unit instead of blocks
Whenever I work with a plain text that is longer than a single paragraph, I'm struggling because all paragraphs are objects, and it's really hard to do anything across several objects at the same time.
For example if I want to move a sentence from one place in the text to another, it is quite clunky. I have to make sure that the sentence doesn't contain a link, and I cannot mark text across two paragraphs.
In this scenario, the object mindset that makes Capacities so powerful elsewhere, is just in the way of writing freely.
A good source of inspiration is Sanity CMS. They have a similar object-philosophy, but they still have a an excellent UI for writing longer texts.
There are many feature requests along these same lines, but I think they all boil down to the fact that it doesn't really make sense to split long texts into blocks in the UI, even if you do it behind the scenes.

I am having the same challenges.
It's unbearably painful that something that should be easy becomes that much of an annoyance - and it takes away from the flow / you loose the momentum.
A different editor mode for "free text writing" would solve it.

I definitely have to agree that the ability to highlight across multiple text blocks (and other object types) is desperately needed. It makes editing a page far easier and more intuitive. It can feel quite cumbersome currently when you need to move around sentences, or varying object types (images, videos, weblinks); especially if they span across multiple blocks.
