Automatically Move Overdue Recurring Tasks to the Current Date

I would like to suggest an improvement to how overdue recurring tasks are handled, especially on mobile.

Currently, when a recurring task is missed, it remains attached to the original overdue date. On Android, this can be confusing because the overdue date is still displayed, and it is easy to accidentally tap or change the date while trying to manage the task.

In some cases, manually changing the date can remove the recurring schedule entirely, which also removes the task's history and statistics.

It would be helpful if recurring tasks automatically moved to the current date once the scheduled date has passed, while marking previous occurrences as missed, skipped, or incomplete. This would make recurring tasks easier to manage and reduce the risk of accidentally breaking the recurrence when handling overdue tasks on mobile.

The main goal is to keep recurring tasks active and visible for today while preserving the history of missed occurrences.
