Turn into Text/Delete Link
Can it be possible to select a linked object (inline or block) and select Turn Into Text or Remove Link? Sometimes objects were created or linked by mistake and removing deletes the entirety of the selected text rather than just removing the link from the text. This would be incredibly useful.
Similarly: Undo right after you create an object just removes the object link but doesn't delete the object - that should be an option: undo creating and linking the object versus undo the creation of the object itself.

You’re right that the current behavior focuses on deleting the whole linked block/text rather than just stripping the link, and there’s no “turn into plain text” action documented today. For now, the closest workaround is to copy the link text, paste it as plain text, and then delete the linked version. Your point about having two separate undo options (remove link vs. delete object) is also not supported based on the docs and would require a change in how undo works.
