Make object settings for basic types customizable to individual spaces

Object settings for basic object types apply across all spaces when I customize the card view. It would be great if this could be customizable for each space. In one space, I want the Pages content preview to show in gallery view, but in another space I do not, and right now I have to pick one no matter which space I'm working in.
