Save whole web page.
I am a visual person. I work with various art forms. Paintings photographs etc. I need to see the picture when I’m browsing. I also need the precise words that accompany the rest. I’ve gotten this gay. All set up. Invested. I did that because I couldn’t imagine you not saying the whole page.
Bear (shiny frog) does this better than any other app. Better than pocket, instapaper - any of them. In markdown. Can have multi word tags.
I don’t really care how big the whole thing is. I don’t consider content bloating. Plus, I don’t want to have to make every specialty word a tag. I just want It searched in the text. How can you think you’re building a knowledge base of I can’t see it?
If you’re not, please say so soon. I want to move on. I’ll hate that. All other requirements are met.
Thank you!

Thanks for the detailed context and comparison. Based on the current documentation, Capacities’ own web extension is focused on saving links plus notes and metadata, not full-page content capture like Bear, Pocket, or Instapaper, and there is no built-in “save full page in markdown” feature right now: https://docs.capacities.io/reference/web-extensionFor richer article/highlight workflows, the recommended options today are integrations like Web Highlights or Readwise: https://docs.capacities.io/reference/integrations/readwiseFull-page saving as you describe is not supported at this time, so this ticket is the right place to track interest in that direction.
