MCP Property-based filtering in search

The current MCP search tool performs only text and semantic searches. It cannot filter by object properties—for example, retrieving all [object type] Projects where [property] Status = [label] In progress, all Notes with a specific tag, or all Meetings from a given year.

An AI assistant navigating a knowledge space needs to query by structure, not just by content. Without this, it risks acting on incomplete information — for instance, making recommendations about project hierarchy.

This would be huge. There are some many ways I would use this.

The one I was trying to set up today was creating a workflow where my AI assistant is able to check all of my tasks due today and help me triage them in a morning pass. Or even, do a weekly review looking at all that is due over the next week.

I am able to do these on a project basis, since it just pulls all tasks by tag, and looks at them individually. Not ideal, and eats up lots of time and tokens.

+1 to this. Filtering is absolutely necessary by object types, or by properties of an object

I am trying to build myself a command center with Claude Code using my Capacities as my source of truth but I'm hitting all sorts of obstacles.

My biggest is that trying to bring in my tasks into Claude Code is an absolute no go. It can't differentiate between completed and non completed tasks so it brings in every tasks I've ever done. It can't search by scheduled or completed date so I can't use that to get all tasks from a specific day. I have to take a screenshot of my day and use that. Very annoying.

It can't even get my daily note by date which kind of totally borks it being "daily". I can't tell it to get my daily notes from the pasy week and summarize what I've done.
