Button or keycommand for next object in list

Currently, moving forward and backward between objects only works for objects that have already been opened before.

It would be useful to navigate through all objects inside the currently selected object type, without having to go back to the left panel each time.

Example:

There are 15 pictures in the Picture object type in the left panel.

When I open one picture, I would like to use Forward and Back navigation, for example Ctrl + → or Ctrl + ], to move to the next or previous picture in that object type.

At the moment, this is only possible if the object has already been opened earlier. Otherwise, I have to go back to the left panel and manually select the next picture.

Requested behavior:

When an object type is open, allow the user to move forward and backward through all objects in that object type, even if they have not been opened before
