Always-visible outline and text stats for long-form writing

I use Capacities for long-form writing (weekly essays, sermons, articles, often ~5,000 words). The previous right sidebar behavior, where I could always see both:

* the outline / table of contents (from headings), and

* the text stats (especially word count),

* was extremely helpful and is hard to replace with the current UI.

My workflow:

I structure each piece with headings ( # , ## , etc.) and rely on the outline to see the whole piece at a glance and jump between sections.

I mark completed sections by adding a † (dagger, U+2020) at the start of the heading. Seeing these markers in the outline lets me quickly scan which sections are done vs. in progress.

I keep an eye on the word count as I write and edit, especially when I’m aiming for a target length.

With the newer design:

* The outline is more “floating” and not as permanently fixed/visible as before.

* Text stats are hidden behind the three-dot menu, so I can’t keep word count in view while I’m drafting.

Feature request:

Please add an option to:

* Pin a persistent sidebar that can always show:

1) the outline (headings), and

2) text stats (word count, etc.)

* Let users choose this behavior in Settings (e.g., “Always show outline + text stats in sidebar for pages”).

This would make Capacities much more comfortable for serious long-form writing, where structure and word count both need to be visible continuously.
