"People involved" not accessible as a variable for backlink objects in Meeting template queries

I want to create a 1-1 Meeting template which includes a "tasks related to this person" query, where this person is a dynamic value coming from the default "people involved" field of the meeting object, so that I can reuse this 1-1 template for different people.

In the query settings, I would like to use something like "[backlink objects] includes [people involved]"

Unfortunately, the dynamic variable [people involved] is not available for [backlink objects], although it is available for other fields like [Title].

Hi Beth , yes of course, sorry for not doing it from the start.

As you can see on this screenshot, the first filter using the Title property manages to retrieve "people involved" as a dynamic variable.

However in the second line using Backlink Objects, "people involved" is not available, eventhough it manages to retrieve one of my custom property (related projects).

Hope it helps.

Hi Jerome D could you share a screenshot here or at [email protected] if private. I can see the variable for people involved in a query like this.

Great use case for variable queries and 1‑1 templates. Right now, variable queries can use “This object” and certain properties, but they don’t expose a per‑property list like “People involved” as a variable for Backlink objects, so what you’re trying to do isn’t supported yet. I’ve linked this to our work on extending variable queries so we can better support person‑centric setups like yours. For reference on current behavior, see: https://docs.capacities.io/reference/queries#variable-queries-in-templates

If you scroll to the bottom of the Capacities settings, you will find the current version (e.g. "Capacities v1.3.14").
