Google Tasks Sync - Display Tasks in Today View Alongside Calendar Events
Hi Capacities team,
I'd love to see Google Tasks integrated into the Calendar sync, so that tasks
appear in the Today view alongside regular Google Calendar events.
Currently, Capacities syncs calendar events beautifully, but Google Tasks are left out, which means I have to keep Google Calendar open on the side just to see my full schedule. Since I use Capacities as my main dashboard, this friction breaks the workflow.
My use case: I rely on Google Tasks to time-block recurring personal tasks like workouts, grocery shopping, and small one-off to-dos. Having these visible directly in the Today view would make Capacities a true single-pane-of-glass dashboard.
From a technical standpoint, the Google Tasks API is well-documented and
straightforward. Since the calendar event integration is already in place, this
feels like a natural and relatively lightweight extension of the existing sync
functionality.
Thanks for considering it!

Please with 2-way-sync!
EDIT: It appears Google Tasks are becoming increasingly more integrated to Google Calendar. I can see the tasks created on Google Calendar as they have some event properties as well now.
I'm sure there's going to be a need for these modifications, but maybe waiting to see what Google is doing it the correct move here.

+1 Please implement this
