When opening a picture from within a page, you can't go back!

On Windows, when you open up a picture that you've pasted into a page and then click on it to take a closer look, there is no way of you to go back to THAT PART of the page you were on .

The forward back buttons at the bottom scroll between the pictures, the escape key takes you back a layer (e.g. to the object housing the pages), and the back button the mouse does the same thing. You could also click the page in the history tab at the top of the picture, but that puts you back to the start of the page!!!

Can you please add a button to close the image you've opened, and keeps you where you had embedded it in your page??

Thanks!

Thanks for describing this so clearly – that context loss when zooming into an image is very understandable. Right now there isn’t a way to close the image and return to the exact scroll position in the page. I’ve linked your request to our navigation and media improvements so we can explore a “close and stay here” behavior for embedded images. If others want this too, please add your vote and any specific workflows where this would help.
