Pre-Filtering Select Options for Multiple Related Two-Way Linked Object Select Properties

When you go to select an Object from a Two-way linked Object Select property, if a different bi-directionally linked Object Select property already has something selected, it pre-filters the current one with the associated options (but with an expand option at the bottom to get back to global).

Essentially, if A & B, B & C, and C & A are all bi-directionally linked, and then I select a B option in A, and then go to select a C option, the C option dropdown list would filter to only the records that are linked between B & C, or if there's only one, just pre-fill it or suggest it.

To give a clear example: In a CRM, you may have an Account(s) object, a Contact(s) object, and a Deal(s) object. If I create a Deal and say that it's associated with Account X, and then I go to select the primary Contact for that Deal, I want it to filter my contact dropdown to only show Contacts that are already associated with Account X (and if there's only one, ideally it could be set to pre-fill it or suggest it for you).

This doesn't have to be as complex as getting into database joins, just a simple association, and if the user wants to see all of the object options the could just click a greyed "Expand" button.

Another idea here, would be if you have an Activity object that has a Next Step property.

Then, if you have an Account object with a two-way link to the Activity object, being able to surface the most recent Next Step in a Next Step property on the Account object. Almost like it would be called 'Associated Two-way Linked Object' with a couple settings of its own.

Currently, I'm thinking I'll either a) copy the Next Step from the Activity and paste it over the last Next Step that was on the account so I can see it in the Accounts table, but this is cumbersome. Or b) I'll just jump to the account and write over the last Next Step that's there, since it likely only needs to be stored temporarily. Will likely go this route I think.
