View calendars with read-only access

I have a calendar I am subscribed to within my Google calendar, which is read-only.

Currently Capacities does not let me view these calendar entries within the app as they are read-only, however I do not need to write anything to them. I simply want to be able to easily create new Meeting objects from the events.

Is it possible to allow these read-only calendars to be shown within the app for this use case?

I would rephrase this as: Subscribe to Shared Calendars

Allow users to subscribe to calendars they don't own (via iCal links or shared calendar URLs) without needing to add their own account. Many users maintain reference calendars from colleagues and institutions that they track but don't manage.
