Default Toggle States: Defining Open/Closed Behavior
I use toggles extensively and often nest them to minimise visual clutter. However, I've encountered a frustrating issue: the rules that determine a toggle's default state (whether it opens or stays closed) aren't clear or consistent.
When I open my main toggle, the nested toggles below behave unpredictably—some remain collapsed while others expand automatically. This inconsistency disrupts my workflow.
My Request: I'd like the ability to set a default state for toggles so that all nested toggles remain collapsed by default each time I return to the page. This would significantly improve my experience and make toggle behaviour more predictable and controllable.
I can create a short video demonstrating this issue in more detail if that would help clarify the problem.
I really appreciate the work you've put into Capacities and the genuine care you show this community. Thank you!

It seems that I figured it out:
The toggles preserve the last state in which they were left in their original location.
This means that if they are references (embedded) elsewhere, the states won't be remembered.
Is that correct?
Thanks!

Hi Pablo NP thanks for the improvement suggestion. In the meantime, when you open a page, you can do Cmd O/Ctrl O to toggle everything open/closed.
