Hide query UX when not hovering

Queries are very useful, but some of the buttons that appear next to them are kind of ugly/obtrusive when you are not editing them. They add quite a lot of visual clutter when you have a number of different queries on the screen

I would very much like it if most of the buttons you see in the screenshot below (e.g. edit, and the three buttons to the left of the edit button, and probably the new button) didn't appear unless your mouse was hovering over the query, or something of that nature.
