Sort Collections on Dashboard

There doesn't seem to be a way to set the sort method used when viewing a Collection directly in the Dashboard. As shown here, the entries are sorted based on when they were created, but I want them to sort by Title. I know you can do this by going into the Collection itself, and that you can also make a query, but these options make the Dashboard pointless. We should be able to choose how each section on our Dashboard - especially any Collections - are sorted.
