Selecting blocks via mouse scroll.

Currently, when I try to select a block using the mouse scroll, it only allows me to choose one block. It would be great to enable multiple block selection via the mouse scroll. I can do this by selecting each module and holding the Shift key on the keyboard. I would like to have the same functionality with the mouse. Notion and Craft have similar user experiences.
