Timeline widget for inclusion in objects

I propose an embeddable widget for objects containing date fields. This widget would enable rapid scrolling through information, organizing it chronologically, even if the object's body isn't time-based.

For instance, on a project page (e.g., a podcast project), I log guest interview timestamps. Currently, this information is organized as a list by individual. A timeline view would allow me to quickly identify, say, who I contacted three months ago that hasn't responded.

Ideally, this scrollable interface would feature tooltips displaying the block associated with each timestamp, with a single click navigation to that block.
