Calendar Integration with Proton Calendar

See https://feedback.capacities.io/b/1v35e680/feature-ideas/ics-calendar-integration

So please make that possible.. I now sync from proton to outlook to capacities... I would love to cut out Outlook.

Hi Beth I disagree. Maybe a real 1-on-1 integration is not possible because of the encryption, BUT Proton Calendar has the ability to share a link which makes it possible for e.g. Capacities or Outlook or Google Calendar to see the calendar read-only. It's a ICS-link.

So, if you will support ICS calendar links in Capacities, you will in fact also support a (read-only) Calendar of Proton. Kind regards, Gerard

Proton’s end-to-end encryption means only you can decrypt your data. Capacities can’t read what’s needed for a sync, so an integration isn’t possible.

This would greatly be appreciated. In fact this was, as of now, the deciding factor between getting or not getting Pro. Thank you for your great work!

Graag zou ik integratie zien met Proton calendar en mail, vanwege dezelfde reden als al genoemd is; ik wil graag een systeem dat geheel Europees is. Google Microsoft gebruik ik niet.

I, too, would really appreciate that. European software, European data storage, and no—or very little—data transfer to the U.S. Please integrate Proton Calendar!

I too am trying to limit my exposure to US software and the US in general. A bigger focus on primarily EU vendors would be very useful

Yes please.

I am looking to minimise my exposure to large US dat hovering services and try witing an environment ahereing European Data Security stadards.

I would love this too.

It would open the door towards digital souvereignity in my PKM.
