Web clipper specify collections

Chrome web clipper. Currently allows selection of tags when clipping, but I have quite a few "collections" of weblinks and I would like to be able to direct the clip into the correct collection. As I understand it, collections are the preferred way of categorizing within a single object type, whereas tags are the way to categorize across different object types. So within the weblinks object I've used collections.
