Sort lists on mobile

Am I missing something or is there no way to sort a list on mobile. I have it sorted on desktop by date, but on mobile it only seems to be sorted as it wants to sort. There are some very very basic features missing on iOS mobile phone app. It's almost making me want to go back to notion.
