CalDAV support in Calendar Integrations

CalDAV support was added to Capacities with the last release! 🎉 You can read about it here: https://capacities.io/whats-new/release-70

+1000 I use Fastmail and Apple Calendaring. Would love direct integration with both, a local sync for phone and desktop, or the ability to bring in a published calendar feed (which I can broadcast from iCloud). The limitations would be acceptable.

Adding my vote here folks. I'd rather be using Fastmail for my calendaring needs. Without CalDAV support we're all beholden to using Google which is ridiculous.

Considering the relationship between USA and the World, CalDAV support should be a priority so we don't solely rely on American platforms as this product is European.

It's about Data sovereignty.

Für mich auch ganz wichtig. Google funktioniert nicht, Microsoft synchronisiertmit 24 Std. Verzögerung. Katastrophe!

Mailbox.org ist mein Anbieter - arbeitet mit CalDav.

CalDAV-Unterstützung ist essentiell für mich, daher +1.

Ja, bitte integriert CalDAV. Das würde es ermöglichen, beliebige Kalender und To-Dos zu nutzen, die diesen Standart unterstützen.

Darüberhinaus sollte auch CardDAV eingebaut werden, um Personen mit einem vorhandenen Adressbuch verbinden zu können.

Please make the calendar integration open to the standard - seems awkward to be dependent on the big tech companies for integration in capacities.

While adhering to standards, if not exactly ISO, is in itself a advantage, freeing Capacities of vendor lock-in is certainly a plus, particularly in the current climate.
