More control over embedded object appearance

Right now there's a lot of information I either don't need or want control over.

• I like e.g. from search queries or collections just to view the items returned with minimal noise from other elements.
• The heading is taking a lot of space and I can't customise it.
• The embed block is taking a lot of space compared to if I had linked to the objects manually.

In the attached photo I e.g. just want the objects listed within the dotted square and don't care about all the other stuff, which is taking up a lot of space compared to what I've marked as a manual linking.

It would also be great to be able to control how the objects within the embed are presented. I know you can switch between the four views, but I'd like more control of what information is shown. E.g. in the first (list) view, it shows tags on the right side - I'd like to be able to control what's shown. The same goes for the last one, table view, I'd like (similar to Notion) to be able to control what columns are shown and which are hidden.

Lastly, some way of remembering the view, given that I in my pages usually prefer the list view, but if if I open up the embed and start messing around there e.g. going to table view. Then when I get back to my page with the embed it now shows the table view and not the list view.
