Bulk edit properties

It would be great to be able to select a group of objects (for example, a bunch of quotes) and bulk edit shared properties (for example, author).

This would be useful when merging objects. I want to merge games back into media to declutter my space. But I can't mass set the type property on media and this means I would have to update 70 records 1 by 1.

Please... I want to expand my dataset naturally as I discover more needs. I don't want to manually update everything every time I want to add a new propery.

This would be a very welcome addition.

This would be a fantastic addition and would remove a lot of the tedium of upkeep and experimentation within Capacities. Sometimes I feel like I'm spending more time managing the organization of information rather than actually interacting with the information because of details like this. I love having an object-based PKM, but would love for the objects to function more like interacting with a database sometimes--including bulk edits.

This important (and probably not very unusual) 2-year-old feature request now has 86 votes, and it has been merged with similar requests on multiple occasions by @Beth, but still none of us know where the Capacities team itself stands on this. Is it planned, has it been rejected, or is it at least being considered in some way?

is there any chance this could be prioritized, please? This limitation is Drastically hindering workflows presently and I've had to make the unfortunate decision to table some efforts until this in place because editing hundreds of objects individually introduces significant enough friction to be an actual blocker to those workflows.

I absolutely second that request!

It would be very nice to be able to set a label property for multiple objects at once.

This is an example of a feature that competitor apps have had for quite a while now, and it would be great to have in Capacities. Having to go through items one by one to change their status, or properties, is very time consuming.

Particularly in table view, as well. It's ridiculous that if if I have a group of objects in table view and I need to update a property (e.g. give new tasks all the same context, or set a status label property for a bunch of notes I need to revisit), I have to update each one individually. I can't just select all the cells in the column and update in one fell swoop, or at the very least copy and paste one cell into another. Implementing this would be EXTREMELY helpful!
