Bulk select with shift+click when in bulk mode

Currently one can select multiple items with shift+alt click, but even when entering the bulk select mode one can only select multiple items by clicking every single one individually.

I would propose that after entering bulk select mode one can select many items by clicking the first item and then shift clicking the last and this selects everything in between, like it works in other applications.
