pick up markdown highlights ('==')

I´d like Capacities to pick up the standard MD highlighting ('==') and 'translate' it into a Capacities visual highlight

– this is actually a call for an intermediary solution to an issue that will hopefully be addressed more systematically in the course of the whole annotation layer (Read it later integration; media annotation; etc.)

– as in the end it should be about a semantical interoperability of highlights, including markdown.

... but with my focus to get actual work done via Capacities, I feel more and more that one of my main friction points (maybe even #1) is Capacities inability to carry over / pick up markdown highlighting. so this is my plea for an intermediary solution :-)

background:

I happen to read and annotate a lot im MD – and all of that is to some extent lost, once I copy(!) over material into Capacities.

(btw: I happen to regard this approach as more basic / standard solution than to run into all of the commercial readers... ;-))

as expressed elsewhere, basically I am still hoping this will be taken up in the envisioned 'annotation layer'.

– but as that is a) a hope; b) pretty far away (for practical purposes), I ´d appreciate the extension of the markdown syntax that is respected by Capacities – i.e. extending it beyond headings, code, math -> to highlights (bold, italics).

(– again, I actually happen to think this would be a basic improvement that would serve Capacities better in some ways, than to start from the other side, and integrate all kinds of 3rd party services, before 'servicing' the (quasi) standard file / syntax formats... ;-) )
