Default object type for friction-less capture of ideas.
Today while in the field I had a brief moment to capture an idea.
I pressed the + button on the iPhone app and was met with a menu, I had to decide what type of object I wanted to create.
I was confused....
I wanted to capture the moment with the cleanest thinking possible, but I was met with a moment of friction.
This bit of friction interrupted my thinking.
I would like to see a default object type on mobile and I guess the desktop app as well. Being able to capture raw ideas quickly is a part of my workflow.

That's what Pages are. If you press the "Create new" button and just start typing the title of the object, it'll create a Page by default.
I think this would be valuable for quick adding things as mentioned in the description.
We could, for example, create an Inbox object that is just the title and content, and set it as default.
In mobile, this could be the default action and the current one can be triggered with a long press of the + button.
In desktop, we can have a new shortcut like Ctrl+Q that will create that object instead of having to use Ctrl+U and type the object name to have it added.
