Upload custom icons/emojis

I think it would be super nice to have an option to upload custom icons/emojis, which would be available across the whole space(s).

In my case, I like to use icons for programming languages and they are usually not included in standard emoji sets.

How it is done in other apps:

  • Notion: Allows to upload a custom icon, but you can't re-use them in other places and have to upload again and again.
  • Confluence: I think the best implementation. You can upload, set name, and use the icon in all spaces by the name.

Yes, that's the main feature I miss in Capacities after switching from Notion (where you could btw upload and name them for reuse via settings). I have enough use cases for this feature that I would pay for pro just for this, lol.

Bumping to say if anyone out there is like me, this is a BIG deal...way bigger than it realistically should be lol. Just another way to make our PKM 'Ours'

Would love this. Maybe even just add the option to add other public domain iconography systems into capacities codebase so that we could toggle these on for more options.

This! I frequently document discovered tips, tricks and shortcuts for software I work with. The experience would be greatly improved with this feature, because we could upload app icons for better readability. I can imagine other usecases too.

If this gets implemented, please do it properly and make it behave like cover images, so that custom icons also appear as an image object and can be reused elsewhere. This is what bugs me about Notion currently.

This is really needed, especially with how limited images are to perform in this capacity.
