Bonus is if it doesn't cause the Capacities app to move to the foreground. I would love a small capture box to pop up, input your task or note, then it goes away and whatever you were working on before is still the active window.

Yes, capturing directly into Capacities, rather than the captured content just going to sit on the desktop, would be super useful.
Examples: Todoist. IMHO todoists quick capture is the gold standard for getting the basic thing into the app. At the moment, there's just too many buttons to press to even get to the daily note. This needs to be availale on ios and desktop
