Select collections as the fixed set multi select
Add the option to open a list of collections and use that as the multi-select options instead of having to input all multi-select options and then calculate. E.g a collection of tags for status can be easily used across many content types and more easily input than if you need to add everything manually.

Yes! That's a great idea. It would be even better if you could select multiple collections at once, with two-way linking working alongside that. That would remove 90% of the limitations I'm running into while building my system.
