I am also interested in some kind of commenting, such as footnotes [^], HTML comments , or CriticMarkup {add}, {--delete--}. Adding these comments inline would also improve LLM readability.
I also would like to see some sort of commenting funcitonality. Especially, when using capacities for drafting concepts or long-form text, I'd like to make comments on the side (my thoughts, URL, links to other objects).
It would be nice if the blank real estate on the right of a page could be used for comments (looking at good ol' MS Word) or some sort floating comment UI that's very common in many whiteboard tools.
That way, I could still read my text or concept or whatever in one flow without it being disrupter by side-thoughts. Right now I use toogles as work-arounds, but that feels odd.
If capacities delivers any kind of team version of the software, this feature would probably be a no-brainer. But as a single user, I also like commenting on my own work :)

Similarly, I introduced a Question object, which I intended for things I should sit on, ponder, and research, but finding I'm increasingly using it like a comments feature. E.g. in my meeting notes, I have a question about something said that I need to remember to ask so-and-so, so I create a question object and tag whomever I should ask about it in the new object. But then I also need to copy over enough information into the question that I can remember what the question is about and why it's important. This is creating a lot of duplicate information that would be solved by a commenting feature that had a home page like tasks.
