[Web] Cursor jumps to the start of the block after Japanese IME conversion
Hi Capacities team,
I'd like to report a bug I'm running into with Japanese text input.
When I type in Japanese and convert the text using the IME (Input Method Editor), the cursor jumps back to the very beginning of the block. This makes it almost impossible to keep writing.
- Version with the bug: v1.72.7 (web/browser)
- Browser: Chrome / macOS
- Desktop app: v1.72.4 — the bug does NOT happen here
I'm not sure whether this is specific to the browser version or related to the newer version number, but I hope this helps you narrow it down.
I recently cancelled both Notion and Todoist and moved everything into Capacities, so not being able to type properly is a real problem for me right now. I'd really appreciate a quick fix.
I love what you're building and I'm cheering for you. Keep up the great work!
Best regards,
Capacities v1.72.7; none none; Mac OS v10.15.7; Chrome v156.0.0.0 (WebKit v537.36); Desktop (Browser); 2026/11/8 9:06:09
