Cursor insert error

After adding a line of text in a daily note, then leaving the note and coming back later to edit, 2 things can happen - (1) if I place the cursor at the end of the text to edit, then start typing, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the note, (2) if i place the cursor at the end and hit return to create a new line, the new line is created above the existing line
