ctrl+f via keyboard not searching within the current object

Thank you so much for this wonderful product :) When I try to use keyboard to ctrl+f, even in basic non-custom object types such as Pages or Daily Notes, it does the ctrl+f search across the objects fo that type, rather than within the current object I am looking at.
