Capacities freezes after ending dictation
I'm on Mac mini M6 with the newest (downloaded today) version of Capacities. When I dictated a text, it went fine. I stopped the dictation and now Capacities does not respond to trackpad or keyboard input. In the Activity Monitory I see two Capacities processes are taking circa 37% of the CPU and 13% of the GPU.
I'm going to use Force Quit and see what was saved in Capacities.

Hi @Francis Harvey was this apple dictation or our internal voice recording? Are you able to retry with a test audio and if it happens again send us the diagnostics file that you can download from the bottom of the settings? This should help us figure it out and fix! Thank you.
Hello,
It looks (a blue icon with 2 letter selected language indication) like the Apple dictation. Right? I did Force Quit Capacities yesterday. After restarting, one dictation worked, but this morning another dictation crashed Capacities again. It wasn't flagged by Mac OS (27.0.1) as a crash ever. If there are logs I can send you, let me know.
Francis
Hi Francis, that's useful thank you!! If you go to the settings in Capacities and scroll down in the left side, you will see a button that says 'diagnostics'. If you can email me that at [email protected] we can investigate further.
Hi Beth,
The file is on the way to you. The subject is "For Beth"
